12/08/2013: Kil/Cool U14's have their second win in a row when they beat Wolfetones by a scoreline of 3-8 to 2-6 this evening. Kil/Cool dominated the first half and racked up a 2-5 to 3 points lead by the break. Wolfetones were first on the scoreboard but Dylan Power equalised a minute later and the sides remained level for the next 1o minutes before Stephen Sheehan rocketed one to the back of the net. Seamus Casey pointed a free and Diarmuid O'Donnell's scored a goal to give the Blues a 2-2 to 2 point advantage. Wolfetones scored their final point of the half and then Aaron Slobody and Stephen Sheehan x2 extended Kildysart's lead to 8 at the break. Wolfetones came back into the match in the second half and despite two great goal saves by Emmet McMahon the Tones scored a goal and a point in the opening 6 minutes. This was quickly cancelled out by two Dylan Power frees before Aaron Slobody's goal brought Kildysart's lead to 9 at the end of the 3rd period. Wolfetones then scored 2 more points and a consolation goal in the 60th minute and Dylan Power finished off with a free to bring final score Kildysart 3-8 to Wolfetones 2-6.
