29/07/2013: Kil/Cool U14's had a great home win this evening beating neighbours Clondegad 5-15 to 3-3 to mark their first victory since moving up to Division A football. Kil/Cool were without the services of injured Stephen Sheehan but a real team performance with 8 different scorers pulled home the win. Kil/Cool kept Clondegad to a single point in the first half while they accumulated 1-7. JJ Carrig then went on a goal rampage scoring 3 goals with 7 minutes to bring the score to Kil/Cool 4-9 to Clondegad 3 points. Clondegad came back into the game and scored 3 goals in the second half. It wasn't enough though as Barry McMahon drove home his second and final goal and the match finished with a score line of 5-15 to Clondegad 3-3.
