02/05/2012: Kildysart U13s played a very entertaining game of football and beat the amalgamation of Ballynacally & Lissycasey schools on the warm and sunny evening at home.  The opposition got off to an early lead with a goal inside of two minutes, but Kildysart quickly countered with a point from Diarmuid O'Donnell and a goal from Cian Murphy to take the lead which they never relinquished.   In the 7th minute the amalgamation levelled the sides with a free, but it was Kildysart who dominated the remainder of the half, with a lovely display of football.  Aaron Slobody was unlucky when his shot was deflected by the goal keeper for a point.  Points then followed from Luke McGrath, Stephen Sheehan x2,  Seamus Casey x2 and Ryan Casey to leave the home side up by 01-08 to 01-02.

The second half was a bit slower as Lissycasey/Ballynacally scored 2 unanswered points from frees in the 1st 10 minutes.  Then Stephen Sheehan was quick to react with a point when the cross bar denied Seamus Casey a goal.    Jack Kirrane was causing trouble for the opponents in mid field and made a great goal line save from a free.  Stephen Sheehan blasted one into the net and Ryan Casey finished off with a point for a final score Kildysart 02 10, Lissycasey/Ballynacally 01 04.  Best for Kildysart:  Jack Kirrane, Seamus Casey, Stephen Sheehan.

Team:  Emmet McMahon, Mikey Donnellan, Darren Crehan, Jack Kirrane, Darragh Watson (Captain), Eoghan Hogan, Seamus Casey (0-2), Stephen Sheehan (1-4), Ryan Casey (0-2), Aaron Slobody, Diarmuid O'Donnell (0-1), Cian Murphy (1-0), Luke McGrath (0-1).  Subs: Conor Cusack, James Kelly, Garry Murrihy, Shane Frawley, Kevin Meaney
