09/09/2012:  The U12's lost the West Clare A final today 02 10 to Ennistymon 03 13.  Kildysart got off to a great start when Seamus Casey scored a goal following on from the throw-in in the opening seconds.  Ennistymon drew level by scoring 3 points in as many minutes which was the first out of four times that the teams were level.  Ennistymon took the lead but a free by Emmet McMahon had the sides level again at the end of the first quarter.  Stevie Sheehan followed with a great score from out the field but Ennistymon pointed to level the sides again.  The Magpies went two scores in front and then goalie Conor Hassett delivered 2 rapid saves and the backs cleared another goal attempt to keep Kildysart in the game.  Stevie converted a long range free and Ennistymon scored twice more leaving Kildysart down 01 03 to 9 points at the break.

Kildysart drew level again two minutes into the second half after 2 frees from Emmet McMahon and a point from play by Seamus Casey.  Ennistymon scored a goal but Kildysart answered with a point via Stevie Sheehan.  The North Clare side scored a further goal and 2 points and started to pull away. Kildysart, however, dug deep and countered with a blast from Emmet McMahon which found the back of the net and a point from Seamus Casey ended the third quarter Kildysart 02 08 to Ennistymon 02 12.  The Magpies had their final scores (goal and point) by the 33rd minute and Kildysart added two more points from Emmet and Stevie before the final whistle.
