Update:  Score confirmed as shown (draw).

Barry Crehan's goal followed by Ben Cleary's free brought the sides level Kil/Cool 02 11 to Gaels/Kilimer 04 05 in the last 3 minutes of normal time.  Gaels/Kilimer had the last kick of the game but were unable to capitalise as the free went wide and the final whistle blew.  Playing with the breeze Kil/Cool got off to a great start scoring 1-3 in the first ten minutes and it wasn't until the 14th minute that Gaels/Kilimer hit the scoreboard.  Cian Murphy scored a great goal after a long solo run and also added a point.  Ben Cleary scored 3 and Oisin Coyle and Gary Meaney added one each to finish the half 01 06 to 01 02.

Gaels/Kilimer started the second half with a goal and point and drew level within 6 minutes.  One minute later they converted a penalty to go ahead by three.  In the next 10 minutes, Kil/Cool drew level again 01 10 to 03 04 by adding 4 points - two from Ben Cleary and 1 each from Cian Murphy and Sean Wallace and Gaels/Kilimer added 1.  Then the opposition goaled and pointed again to be 4 points clear with 5 minutes remaining.  Kil/Cool kept the head and that's when Barry Crehan found the back of the net. Ben Cleary's free levelled the sides for the final time.  A draw was a fair result and a fitting end to a very exciting match.  The draw ensures that Kil/Cool are through to semi final with 1 game left to play.
