Kil/Cool U16 Mighty Win in Quarter Final

22/04/2013: Under 16 Division 2 quarter-final Coolmeen/Kildysart V Clarecastle
Monday 22nd April 13 @7pm in Labasheeda Ref; B Keniry

This quarter final match was played in dry breezy conditions on a wet muddy pitch. Coolmeen/Kildysart played into the breeze in the opening half and despite plenty of posession failed to score. Clarecastle on the other hand only managed a goal at the 14th minute. Half-time score Coolmeen/Kildysart 0-0 Clarecastle 1-0.

On the restart Coolmeen/Kildysart upped their game and got on the scoreboard with an excellent point from a long range free by Cian Murphy. Coolmeen/Kildysart then went on a scoring spree and managed to keep the ball in Clarecastle's half for most of the second half. Cian Murphy gave a "Man of the Match" performance. Clarecastle tried hard to secure posession but were denied by some great defending.  Best for winners were Cian Murphy, Kevin Mc Mahon and Rory Mc Mahon. Best for Clarecastle were goalie Ronan Garvey and David Barry.  Full-time score Coolmeen/Kildysart 0-11 Clarecastle 1-0.
