Debutante Luke McGrath Leads Kildysart in Win over Wolfetones

11/03/2017:  Kildysart Intermediates got off to a good start in their Garry Cup opener at home v Wolfetones winning 2-13 to 0-4.  Wolfetones arrived with a much depleted side due to soccer commitments and only managed 2 points in each half and had to wait until the 47th to get their only point from play.  Kildysart were impressed with their young talent with debutante Luke McGrath scoring 1-5 (1f) and centre back Rory McMahon contributing 1-1, after impressing with the Clare U21 team in Munster on Wednesday last.  The home side led at halftime 1-8 to 0-2 and pushed on ahead in the second half.  Next match is 8th April away to St. Breckans.
