20/10/2013:  In a near repeat of last year's West Clare A quarter final, Kil/Cool U15's had a comprehensive victory over Kilrush 04.11 to 01.02.  Last year's match took place on the same date and the result was Kil/Cool 4-12 to Kilrush 1-9.  Kil/Cool set the tone of the match in the opening minutes when Barry Crehan sent the ball to the net after getting a lovely pass from Stevie Sheehan.  This was followed by points from Seamus Casey, Alan Normoyle and Stevie Sheehan.  Luke McGrath's goal in the 7th minute was followed by a long ball in from Barry Crehan that landed in the bottom corner of the net that gave Kil/Cool a 3-3 to no score advantage by the 12th minute.  Kilrush got on the score board with their only score of the first half but this was quickly followed by Barry Crehan's third goal.  Barry finished off the half with a point to leave the score at the break Kil/Cool 4-4 to Kilrush 1 point.
Kilrush managed only 2 scores at either end of the 2nd half as Kil/Cool continued to dominate and ensured steady stream of scores to finish off the match 4-11 to Kilrush 1-2 at full time.  Kil/Cool now face N. Eoin/O'Curry's in the semi-final.
