17/06/2012: On a day when a win would have seen Kildysart go straight through to the final, Kildysart will have to settle for a place in the semi final.  Kilmurray Ibrikane were on the back foot from early on when they had a man sent off in the first minute for a striking offence.  Ger Kelly opened Kildysart's account with a free and followed with a point from play.  Brian Eryes pointed for Kildysart before Kilmurray scored their first point from a free.  Ibrikane scored two more unanswered points to see the sides level at the end of 1st quarter.  Damian Hill, Damian Murtagh and Christy Clancy scored unanswered points and then Kilmurray pointed a free to end the half Kildysart 6, KIB 4 points.

Christy Clancy started the 2nd half with a point as each side added 4 to end the 3rd quarter Kildysart up 10 points to 8. Keith O'Connor's point stretched the lead to 3 just before Kilmurray found the back of the net to level it with 50 minutes gone.  KIB goaled again 2 minutes later to put them ahead for the first time.  Points from Ger Kelly and Neilie O'Connor kept Kildysart in the game and Kildysart were unlucky when Damian Murtagh's free hit the post and went wide.  Final score Kildysart 13, KIB 02 08.
